What this site is
WhereBuyLinks publishes reviews of platforms that sell backlinks. Ratings come from first-hand buying by the author, scored on weights published openly on the methodology page. Platforms the author has not bought from carry no rating at all: they show a fact sheet and a "not tested" badge instead.
What a rating is
A rating is one person’s judgement, formed from their own purchases, on the criteria and weights published on this site. It is not a certification, not an audit, and not a guarantee that you will have the same experience. The platforms are independent businesses and change without notice.
Figures on this site
Figures labelled as announced by a platform are that platform’s own claims, repeated as claims and not verified by us. Figures labelled as counted were read from the platform’s interface on the date shown, and drift afterwards. Neither kind is a warranty.
Affiliate links
Some links to platforms earn us a commission if you sign up through them. This is disclosed in the footer of every page. Commissions never affect a rating: the ranking is computed from the published weights, and a platform cannot buy a better score. Links that earn a commission are marked as sponsored for search engines.
